Renowned food blogger and YouTuber Chef T, popularly known as Diary of a Kitchen Lover, has been called out by Nollywood actress Wunmi Toriola for ignoring her direct messages.
Taking to her Instagram story, Toriola revealed that she had reached out to Chef T in August last year, requesting to be featured in one of her cooking episodes as part of a promotional campaign for her cinematic debut. However, she claimed that her message was ignored, and she never received a response.
Sharing a screenshot of the unread message, she had written:
“Good morning sis. I have been a lover of your page for a while. I don’t know if any of your cooking episodes is coming soon. Would love to feature as my cinema debut is coming in September—me wearing a t-shirt of it while cooking on one of your episodes. I don’t know if and how it works with you.”
Expressing her disappointment, the actress accused Chef T of feeling too big to collaborate, implying that the food blogger now distances herself from others after achieving success.
“Chef T @diaryofakitchenlover feels she doesn’t need anyone again. Na only she grow her grow. Shey na December me sef come out????” she wrote.
In another post, Wumi Toriola praised those who, despite their success, still maintain healthy collaborations in the entertainment and content creation space.
“Shout out to great people who have grown and still maintain healthy collaborations…” she added.
While Chef T has yet to respond to the call-out, Toriola’s post has sparked conversations online, with fans debating whether influencers should be obligated to respond to every collaboration request.
