Nollywood box office queen Funke Akindele sent fans into a frenzy after hinting at a new marriage on social media.
A few hours ago, she shared an Instagram post suggesting she was getting married soon, sparking excitement among her followers. However, she later clarified in the caption that it was all a joke.
The mother of twins wrote, “I am getting married.”
The post quickly went viral, with numerous fans sharing their excitement and speculating about her new partner
This triggered an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans and fellow celebrities who believed the news.
However, moments later, the actress revealed that it was all an April Fools’ prank.
In her caption, she playfully wrote:
“APRIL WHAT?…………………F HAPPY NEW MONTH GUYS!!!”
Despite the fact that the post was meant to entertain and cheer everyone into the new month of April, her comment section is filled with people volunteering for different positions to take during the wedding.
