Renowned Yoruba film actress Regina Chukwu has opened up about her late husband’s heartbreaking instructions to her during his battle with health issues.
She also revealed the painful circumstances that led him to wish for his own death while he was still alive. Regina’s emotional disclosure sheds light on the deep struggles her husband faced and the difficult decisions she had to endure.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel Regina Chukwu TV, she disclosed that her late husband pleaded to her to find a doctor that could inject him with a poisonous injection so that he could die quickly because he could not bear the pain he was experiencing when he was sick.
In her statement, she said, “When my husband’s sickness got worse, I decided to take him to his village, and when his family saw him, they couldn’t believe how badly the sickness had affected him. His parents invited pastors and herbalists to give him some treatment. After we had spent 2 months in the village, my mom came to visit us, and she told me she had a dream about me and my husband, and she gave me some money and left. My husband begged me to find him a doctor that will inject him with poison so that he could die. He said the pain was too much for him to bear and that he couldn’t endure it any longer.”
