Today, April 21, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, is celebrating a special milestone—the 18th birthday of his beloved daughter, Adewamiwa.
Marking the occasion, the royal father shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram page, accompanied by beautiful photos of the celebrant. In his touching tribute, the Ooni expressed his deep love for Adewamiwa and marveled at how quickly time has passed, reflecting on the remarkable young woman she has become.
The monarch further expressed his pride in the woman she was becoming and prayed for God’s blessings on her.
“Adewamiwa is 18 today! Just like that, you’ve reached this beautiful milestone. I’m so proud of the young woman you’re becoming. May God’s blessings and protection surround you today and always.
With all my love, Daddy”.
A year back, while celebrating his first daughter’s birthday, the Ooni had made a demand to her as she turned 30. The monarch expressed his gratitude for her fulfilling life and demanded she bring him a husband.
The Ooni is a proud father of five. Princess Adeola is first child from his teenage years. He has a son with his estranged queen, Naomi Silekunola.
In 2022, the Yoruba monarch surprised many as he publicly celebrated the first birthday of a daughter he welcomed with one of his concubines. His estranged wife, Queen Naomi Silekunola revealed that the monarch had other women in the palace, and the Ooni had proven it to be true as he celebrated his daughter in style, likening her to his late mother.
