A Nigerian man identified as Abefe has caused a stir on social media after sharing an emotional apology video to his girlfriend, Omotolani, who reportedly blocked him for sending her “just” N1 million for Easter celebrations.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page, Abefe posted a heartfelt video in which he passionately pleaded for Omotolani’s forgiveness and begged her to take him back.
The video captured him in a beautifully decorated room, complete with pink and yellow balloons and a placard that read “I Am Sorry” displayed on the wall, showcasing the extent of his remorse.
It all began when Abefe dragged Omotolani on the X app for not calling him to thank him after sending him N1 million. He wrote, “Sent my baby 1m and she hasn’t call to say thanks since 4pm 🕓 😭😭.” This is why I don’t like dating Yoruba girls in Lagos 😉😉 Bunch of ingrates.”
Later, the man shared screenshots of his WhatsApp conversation with his girlfriend regarding the N1 million he had sent her. The exchange led to a disagreement, and at some point, he blocked her. Following the block, the girlfriend lashed out, demanding that he come and take back all the gifts and money he had ever given her.
Taking to his social media page, he lamented, “Woke up to an heartbroken 💔 😭 messages and I’m not sure if I can make it to work today… God why am I facing a lot at this early stage of my life. Instablog has ruined me completely 💔💔 I’m sorry Omotolani, I caused everything !!! I take full responsibility. It’s over 💔😭.”
He went ahead to share the video which he captioned with, “I’m sorry Omotolani “My heartbeats 💓” did all these to let you know I’m deeply sorry from the debt of my heart.. I’m sorry for putting our business out there ❤️🫶 Please forgive me my love 😍. Please 🙏🏽 comment sorry Omotolani 🥹.”
