Renowned Yoruba actor Opeyemi Eniola Alao has opened up about how he handles admiration for actresses within the film industry, while also offering important advice to women on maintaining professionalism.
In an interview posted on the official YouTube channel of Mtec TV, Alao revealed that if he finds an actress attractive, he would respectfully approach and express his interest. However, he made it clear that he would never pressure or force anyone into an affair, emphasizing the importance of mutual consent and respect in the industry.
In his statement, he said, “I’m not supporting sex for movie roles because it is an act of immorality and it is not good. If a movie director insists that he must have an affair with an actress before giving her a movie role, the actress should leave the movie director and go somewhere else. Any movie director that’s forcing actresses to sleep with them before giving them movie roles will later lose their integrity. If I admire an actress, I will toast her, but I won’t force her to sleep with me. If I try to force an actress on myself or try to give her a condition before giving her a movie role, it means I have sinned against God.
