“We Didn’t Win, But My Gratitude Remains Unshaken” – Femi Branch Reacts to AMVCA Loss After 20 Years in Nollywood

Veteran Nigerian actor Femi Branch has penned a heartfelt note of appreciation following the recognition his performance received in the acclaimed film House of Gaa, despite not taking home an award at the 2025 AMVCA.

Sharing his thoughts via his verified social media handle, Branch expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to play the powerful role of Bashorun in the historical drama. He also thanked the producers, cast, crew, and fans for their unwavering love and support.


He stated how his fans feel bad for not win award in the AMVCA 11 edition but he console by their love and the fact that they did a great movies.

He noted how doing a great movies worth congratulations.

Thank you all so much for the love and support for our Amazing Movie HOUSE OF GAA and for me personally in the role of BASORUN GAA. I know you guys feel bad we didn’t win this but I am consoled by your love and the fact that we did make a GREAT MOVIE. It is what it is. Congratulations to all the winners.
