A Nigerian woman has shared the deeply emotional story of her father’s long-awaited return after spending 19 years abroad.
According to her, he left the country in 2006 and had not set foot in Nigeria since. But in 2025, he finally reunited with his wife and children, sparking a wave of joy and unforgettable memories for the entire family.
Heartwarming moments from his return were captured in a series of TikTok videos shared by @agu.nwanyi.303, touching the hearts of many online.
His daughter is now a grown woman, but his wife remained faithful and waited for him throughout the 19 years he was away.
In one of the videos, Agu Nwanyi emphasized that it is indeed possible for a woman to stay loyal and wait for her husband, no matter how long he is gone.
She wrote: “My dad left us since 2006 and he came back this January 2025. I can assure you that My Mum has been all alone for 19 years.”
