Veteran Nollywood actor Ganiu Nafiu, popularly known as Alapini Osa, has opened up about one of the most painful periods of his life — the tragic loss of two of his children while battling a serious illness.
In a candid interview on Behind The Fame TV’s YouTube channel, the seasoned Yoruba actor revealed that he was bedridden for an entire year due to a debilitating illness. During that same period, he suffered the devastating loss of two of his children, describing it as the darkest chapter of his life and career.
“During my journey I’ve lost my 4 year old child, went a whole year without sleep stuck in a chair, there was no time to sleep in a bed or on a floor. I was in a chair for a year, it wasn’t until a year God listened to me and lifted me and I got out, it was inside that journey I lost a 4 year old, inside that same journey, I buried my 37 years old child despite all the money spent. That Femi Adebayo’s recent movie – 7 doors’, if they treat our kings now the same way they treated passed kings won’t they comport?”
He further has a strong message to President Tinubu and his son Seyi .
“My self and 99 others actor and actress came out to campaign for Tinubu, we thought he will help us actors but we got nothing .
Seyi can’t say he didn’t see us campaigning for his father . He went to hospitals in the north , Aren’t there hospitals in the Yoruba Land ?
I can never use my energy to support Tinubu again”
