Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has proudly showcased her thriving business while boasting about her accomplishments and throwing indirect jabs—seemingly aimed at a fellow colleague, Iyabo Ojo.
In a strongly worded message shared online, Lizzy reflected on her humble beginnings and how she rose from adversity to become a successful entrepreneur.
“I started from an uncompleted building, hawking amala under the scorching sun, to becoming a city and estate owner—my heart’s race was truly won. Without pulling anyone down, my dreams took flight. My integrity led the way, lighting my path so bright!”
She condemned what she described as malicious tactics used by some to gain attention and ambassadorships, emphasizing that true success doesn’t come at the cost of destroying others.
“You don’t have to ruin a breadwinner for donations, or bring tears to a mother or child just to secure endorsements. Such actions are cruel, sinful, and uncalled for. Biblically and traditionally, they’re wrong!”
Lizzy stressed that ambassadorships are temporary and should not come at the cost of someone else’s livelihood.
“Ambassadorships fade—they all have expiry dates. But destroying the source of income for families leaves a lasting stain.”
She also encouraged wisdom in handling family matters and criticized those who exploit personal issues for clout.
“As a businesswoman, I admire and celebrate those who rise without tearing others down. I didn’t crush others to shine—my conscience is clean. Why ruin a career to feed an able-bodied person who refuses to work? It’s irritating and wrong.”
“I support people and even employ many, but I don’t parade them online for sympathy or donations. Let’s lift one another in love. Victims should speak up, not stay silent—especially when breadwinners are at risk.”
