Popular Yoruba actor Jeff Owolewa has opened up about the intense rift between fellow actors Itele and Austin Emmanuel, revealing that even veteran actor Antar Laniyan’s efforts to mediate the feud proved unsuccessful.
Speaking during an interview on Oyinmomo TV’s official YouTube channel, Jeff explained that the disagreement between Austin and his longtime friend Itele had escalated to a point where Antar Laniyan’s intervention couldn’t bring about a resolution.
In his statement, he said, “I knew what happened between Austin Emmanuel and Itele because I was working with them at the time. The first time I met Austin Emmanuel was on the movie set of Itele because Itele had already established himself as a popular movie producer at the time. Itele is the kind of person that usually helps people a lot, and that’s why he has a lot of men
around him in the movie industry. Austin Emmanuel started producing his own movies too, and that was when he also became famous. There was so much love between Austin and Itele at the time, and Itele was the one that used to act as Austin’s movie producer. Surprisingly, the two of them had issues between them, and it was something that proved very difficult to stop. The fight between Austin and Itele is so bad that Antar Laniyan couldn’t settle it.”
