Nollywood actress and Portable’s babymama, Ashabi, has taken to social media to celebrate the singer’s latest achievement — the purchase of a brand-new Ford F150.
As reported by 9jagossip, the controversial music star revealed that he acquired the luxury truck after adding to the ₦20 million gift he recently received from Burna Boy, following his boxing victory over Speed Darlington.
In his announcement, Portable credited God for his continued blessings and urged his fans to remain prayerful, especially those struggling financially.
Reacting to the news, Ashabi shared a touching post on her Instagram page. Expressing gratitude to God, she congratulated Portable and showered him with prayers for more open doors, divine grace, and lasting peace.
“Alhamdulilahi, Alhamdulilahi, Alhamdulilahi. Congratulations to you, Bobo Mi. More keys, more grace, more blessings. No more war,” she wrote.
There is no denying the deep affection Nollywood actress Ashabi holds for controversial singer Portable, despite his public outbursts and frequent online clashes with her and his other partners.
Following Portable’s recent release from police custody in Kwara State, Ashabi shared a romantic throwback video of herself with the singer, revealing it had been sitting in her drafts. She noted she hadn’t expected him to change his look so soon and expressed gratitude to God for his release.
This isn’t the first time Ashabi has stood by Portable during his legal battles. In February, when the singer was arrested by the Ogun State government on charges including conspiracy, assault, breach of public peace, and attempted murder, Ashabi publicly shared her distress. She posted an emotional video of herself crying, revealing she had been having sleepless nights and severe headaches, while pleading with God for his intervention.
On his birthday, both Ashabi and Portable’s wife, Bewaji, took to social media to celebrate him. Bewaji described him as her “favorite person” and showered him with prayers, while Ashabi echoed the same sentiment, also calling him her “favorite person” and asking fans to join in praying for him.
Ashabi went a step further by treating Portable to a table full of delicious meals, which she proudly showcased on Instagram. A week prior, she had shared a heartfelt photo and prayer-filled message, expressing how eagerly she was anticipating his special day.
Though their relationship has been tumultuous over the past two years — marked by public drama and the complications of Portable’s marriage — the bond between the singer and Ashabi appears unbreakable. Despite the ups and downs, the pair continue to reconcile and hold firm to their love.
