Actress Eniola Ajao Reveals She Earned Peanuts from Her Cinema Movie

Renowned Yoruba actress Eniola Ajao recently opened up about the financial struggles she faced while trying to fund one of her film projects. In an interview shared on Biola Adebayo Ent’s official YouTube channel, she spoke about the challenges many actors encounter when transitioning into film production and the personal sacrifices she made to bring her vision to life.

At the time, Eniola was determined to produce the movie but lacked the necessary funds. Despite her deep passion for the project, she was confronted with the harsh reality of having no immediate financial backing. She chose not to seek loans, explaining that borrowing could create further complications, and she preferred not to depend on others for support.

Rather than give up on her dream, Eniola chose a different path. She looked around at her assets and realized she had valuable possessions that could help her raise the money she needed. With a clear vision and unwavering determination, she decided to sell several of her belongings to fund the movie production.

Among the items she sold were two of her cars, a piece of land, her jewelry, and some of her gold. These possessions, which represented significant personal investments, were turned into the capital she needed to make her dream a reality. Eniola took this bold step without telling anyone, fully aware that others might discourage her from taking such risks. Her decision to sell these items was

driven by the belief that this was the best way forward, even though it meant sacrificing things she had worked hard for. Once the money was raised, she handed it over to her movie producer, who would handle the necessary steps to produce the film.

She said, “I sold my 2 cars, my land, my jewellery and some gold when I needed money to produce a movie. I didn’t tell anyone about it because they would have discouraged me from doing it, and after I sold everything, I gave the money to my movie producer to do all the necessary things to put the movie together for me.”
