Nollywood actor Kamo State penned a heartfelt message to his senior colleague, Funke Akindele, following the birth of his first child.
As reported by 9jagossip on Saturday, Kamo State and his wife recently welcomed their first child, an announcement he made via Instagram. In his post, he expressed deep gratitude to his wife for enduring the toughest part of the journey and also praised Funke Akindele for her unwavering support during the delivery period.
In a lengthy post on his Instagram page, Kamo praised Funke Akindele and recalled how she stood by them during his wife’s pregnancy and childbirth.
According to him, Funke had offered to fly his wife to the US for their baby’s birth, but they declined. He said she hid one of the best doctors in Lagos for his wife, paid all their bills, and is still sponsoring their child’s naming ceremony.
Kamo stated that Funke’s generosity knows no bounds and her love is a gift that he cherishes every single day. Raining prayers on her, he appreciated her for being the amazing woman she is and for showing him the true meaning of family.
