Actor Femi Adebayo Overwhelmed with Emotion as He Wins Best Lead Actor at AMVCA for Seven Doors

Renowned Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo has become one of the biggest talking points online following his emotional moment at the AMVCA 2025, held on May 10 at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

In a trending video on social media, Femi was seen shedding tears of joy as he accepted the Best Lead Actor award for his powerful role in Seven Doors. The heartfelt moment has captured the hearts of fans and colleagues alike, with many praising his dedication and talent.

Femi Adebayo beats the likes of Tokunbo – Gideon Okeke, The Weekend – Bucci Franklin, House of Ga’a – Femi Branch, Skeleton Coast – Thapelo Makoena, Princess on A Hill – Bimbo Manuel, Suspicion – Stan Nze and Lisabi: The Uprising – Adedimeji Lateef.

Femi Adebayo who entered the stage with friends in an excited manner ended up getting emotional on stage and started crying, however was guided by Odunlade Adekola and others moment later.

A truly deserved award and I’m deeply grateful for this moment with every fibre of my being… the real reason for my breakdown is known only to me and Allah.
