According to a recent report by controversial blog Gistlover, Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo and his wife, Omotayo Sanusi, are reportedly facing marital issues.
The blog alleged via its Instagram page that ongoing tension in their marriage stems from claims of the actor’s infidelity, which has allegedly led to frequent disagreements between the couple.
The gossip blog alleged that a confrontation broke out in Ibrahim Chatta’s village after Femi Adebayo’s wife stormed in, accusing actress Funke Akindele of having an affair with her husband. She reportedly damaged hotel property during the outburst, and Femi Adebayo later paid for the repairs.
According to Gistlover, the situation escalated further after the couple returned to Lagos. Femi Adebayo’s wife allegedly threatened to sabotage his Netflix deal and publicly disgrace Funke Akindele, leading Femi to move out and rent an apartment on the Island.
The blog also reported that Omotayo recently survived a serious car accident, after which her in-laws decided to refrain from getting involved in the marital issues.
Amid the chaos, Omotayo reportedly claimed she is pregnant and insisted she would not leave her husband’s home.
Tensions heightened when Femi’s brother allegedly found a calabash in their house, sparking suspicions of spiritual involvement and deepening the crisis beyond just marital discord.
With emotions flaring and the conflict taking a spiritual and family-wide turn, a social media outburst appears likely.
Femi Adebayo and Omotayo Sanusi tied the knot in a private ceremony attended by family and close friends. This is Femi’s second marriage, following his previous union with Khadijat Adebayo, with whom he shares three children.
