Popular Tanzanian singer and Priscilla Ojo’s husband, Juma Jux, has stirred reactions online after releasing a new song dedicated to his wife. The heartfelt track, performed in his native Tanzanian language, described Priscilla as his “everything.”
Sharing a teaser of the music video on his TikTok page — where he commands over 1.5 million followers — Juma Jux revealed that the song is part of the buildup to their upcoming final wedding ceremony, which will be held the traditional Tanzanian way.
He wrote:
“As we countdown to JP’s final wedding 2025! It’s time we show our Nigerian in-laws the beauty of our culture, Tanzanian style! This is just a taste of a true Dar wedding vibe! Karibuni Nyumbani!”
However, the comment section quickly turned controversial as some Nigerian netizens mocked the singer’s appearance and the song’s melody. A few even likened the style to “aboki” music, suggesting it lacked appeal.
