Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has arrived in Tanzania to celebrate the grand wedding finale of her colleague Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo.
Priscilla and her Tanzanian singer husband, Juma Jux, are hosting the final leg of their wedding festivities this week in Tanzania—a much-anticipated event that has already made headlines.
Ahead of the wedding in two days, many celebrities are flying into the country to witness what many tagged as the Wedding of the Year.
In a clip captured online, Funke was seen at the airport with Jayeola Monje as they arrived in Tanzania.
The video has since left many excited as Funke was noticeably absent at Priscilla’s Nigerian wedding.
On Priscilla’s wedding day, Funke congratulated her and her husband as she rained prayers on the couple. She also expressed how honoured she was to celebrate the special moment with her, noting how Priscilla’s happiness is a testament to her love and dedication as a mother.
After Priscilla’s wedding, Funke lamented her absence and expressed sadness at missing the event.
She had also congratulated Priscilla when she bagged her first endorsement deal following wedding. Taking to her comment section, Funke declared that this was Priscilla’s season of winning and celebration.
