She recounted how her fiancé was shot and killed in November 2005 while they were speaking on the phone—a traumatic moment that left her emotionally broken for two years.

“I know people who choose to stay single and don’t want marriage, and others who want marriage without children,” she said.

Speaking further, she added, “I was supposed to be married in 2005, but he died that November. I was on the phone with him when he was shot. I lost my sanity for two years.”
