A Nigerian car dealer has raised concerns after a client who paid ₦45 million for a vehicle suddenly disappeared and has remained unreachable for two years.

This troubling incident was shared by @maziechidiime on X (formerly Twitter), where the Chairman/CEO of Echidiime Motors Limited expressed his frustration over the unresolved situation.

According to him, the client was someone he met via TikTok. However, since making the payment in 2023, all attempts to contact him have failed. Making matters worse, the client’s TikTok account has since been deleted, cutting off any remaining means of communication.

He also revealed that efforts to trace the client through the bank account used for the transaction were unsuccessful, as the bank refused to provide useful information.

“A client paid for a vehicle worth ₦45 million and ghosted us since 2023,” he wrote. “We have tried calling, texting, and reaching out to his bank, but unfortunately, he’s an orphan 🪶.”

“Sincerely, what do you think we should do? His TikTok account has also been deleted. We met through TikTok,” he added.
