A pregnant woman in labor has tragically lost her life after being denied medical treatment due to her inability to pay a ₦500,000 deposit.

In the distressing video, the expectant mother is seen inside a car with her husband while still alive, en route to the hospital. Her husband, visibly distressed, desperately tries to keep her conscious, pleading with her to stay strong for their children.
“My goodness, Kemi, look at me. Stay strong, look at me. Think about your kids, please. You need to be very strong for me,” he pleaded.
Despite his efforts, the woman appeared weak and unresponsive.
According to the post’s caption, the couple had initially gone to a hospital, but she was refused treatment because they couldn’t afford the ₦500,000 deposit. They were referred to another hospital, but tragically, she did not survive.
